The information can then be bookmarked for easy reference. Having your paperwork stored in this format, safeguards against loss through fire, flood or theft. Any letters or invoices which are required at a later date can be searched and printed out if required.

PREPARATION

Documents need to be free from staples and pins. This can either be prepared by your own staff, or I will do this at additional cost. Torn or damaged papers also need repair work prior to scanning.

SCANNING
Most companies offering document scanning services do so on their own premises. I however will scan on site at your own premises if preferred. This ensures that no documents are lost in transit, and are also readily available should you require them during the scanning process. All I required for on-site scanning, is access to a power socket, and a table for setting up the scanner and computer. Once documents have been scanned, the bookmarking and writing to CD can be carried out off-site.

There is currently a waiting list of up to 7 weeks for on-site scanning, and on average a four drawer filing cabinet takes one to two days to process.
